What to EXPECT
You will need a consultation with the Injecting Practitioner, who will conduct an online consultation with the Prescribing Practitioner, before beginning therapy. The session will result in an evaluation of your treatment plan and medication.

The procedure may last up to 45 minutes, and the affected area will be anaesthetized for your comfort. Platelets will immediately begin to stimulate collagen development and boost blood flow, resulting in improved skin texture and tone for weeks or months following treatment.

It is advised to refrain from touching the region for at least two hours after therapy to allow the injection sites to heal. Before touching the treatment area, ensure that your hands are clean and cleansed

Immediate aftercare:

  • Sleeping on your back while elevated can help minimise swelling (use multiple pillows).
  • Use lotion prescribed by doctor to decrease indications of bruising, which may appear after therapy and continue up to two weeks.
  • For 48 hours after treatment, avoid exercise, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and spas, prolonged sun exposure, and heavy alcohol consumption.
